Our Review
The Alba DVD-273 comes with two 7’’ TFT displays and can play one movie and show it across the two screens simultaneously; the aspect ratio is 16:9, which is the default aspect ratio for most high-definition videos. This player works with almost all available DVDs and CDs on the market and supports CD, CD+/-R, CD+/-RW, DVD, DVD+/-R, DVD+/-RW formats as well as audio CDs and is capable of displaying JPEG photos as well.
The resolution of the displays is 480:234 pixels, the contrast ratio is 400:1 and the brightness is adjustable. This is a DVD player that unfortunately works with region 2 DVDs only, but can be powered with either car adapter or mains adapter and has a remote control that comes with the two AA batteries that operates with. Other features of this DVD in car player are the built-in speaker and headphone socket, which allows you to watch a movie or listen to music without disturbing the other passengers in the car.
